Beratungsstelle für KünstlerInnen
Seit Oktober 1995 gibt es bei arting eine Beratungsstelle für KünstlerInnen. Die Beraterin ist Diplom-Sozialpädagogin und wird durch eine Arbeitsbeschaffungsmaßnahme finanziert.
Die Idee ist, eine Art Selbsthilfenetzwerk aufzubauen. Wir wollen Fragen und Erfahrungen sammeln und austauschen - z.B. zur Künstlersozialkasse, Jobs, Selbständigkeit, ABM, BSHG etc. - um eine größere Solidarität unter KünstlerInnen zu schaffen.

Consulting for Artists
This service for artists was founded in October 1995 in arting. The consultant is a graduated social pedagogue and is financed by the local labour authority of Cologne.
The idea is to create a network of self-assistance and gather experience about practical problems of artists, to answer questions and to collect experiences regarding working in the art and cultural occupations, e.g. social insurance for artists, jobs, freelancing, governmental support for artists, etc.. - to create solidarity among artists.
