Mahmudul Haque is a professor at the Institute of Fine Arts, Dhaka University, Bangladesh. He is founder and president of the Bangladesh Friendship Education Society (BFES), a non-government organization in Bangladesh working for the poor women and children of rural Bangladesh for their education and cultural development.
